This is fun. I love these poster challenges. And sometimes I get savaged in them.

My concept here is that as a gifted amateur, with a modicum of Photoshop experience, I impress my friends as a gifted photographer. It’s not that I’m that good, but rather, that their standards are that low. Hence the concept implemented here.

We see threads here from time to time; … I want to turn my photography hobby into a business. Well, I’ve actually done that, and it’s hard! But it’s paying for my kit.

So here is a photo that violates many of DPC’s unwritten rules: 1) Tilted horizon; 2) Poor focus; 3) Noise; … well you get the idea. I created all these sins on purpose for this photo … and yet I find myself liking the resulting image. Shit! It does at least have an awesome ‘rule of thirds’ composition.
