| Interesting... something I never see in my country. However, the colours are flat and dull... the composition is awkward. It seems underexposed. |

| I hate to say this, but for once, maybe TOO much depth of field? A little OOF in the background would have really set off and outlined the tree. |

| Arrgggh, isn't that tree a bit big for a beaver? Great shot. Love the wood chips. I wonder how long it took to cut this deeply? I always thought they went for trees they could "manage". Nice framing. Too bad you didn't "catch him in the act"! (Now that's asking for the sun, moon and everything!) 9 Swash |

Ahhhhh a very familiar scene to me. The picture tells a story and that is good, but the composition doesn't have any real punch. Perhaps a different angle.

| challenge met. nice find for the challenge. i like the placement of the tree in the overall frame, and the woodchips on the ground. the thing i like the least is the bland sky. i know you can't control that, but i wonder what this photo would look like cropped into a square (taking the sky off and maybe just a tad off the bottom, too). format. |

| Nice shot, I wouldn't stand TOO close to that tree! The shot seems just a bit washed out and maybe a touch soft on focus. DPz |
