untitledby bamasterComment: very simple and has a lot of character. It reminds me of the stowaway picture in the inside looking out challenge, which I loved. hope you do well! |

All Lined Upby Spork99Comment: I really like the repeition of this, and also the angle you flipped it to. The only way to improve it I think would be to have the rows closer together, especially on the left, to form a solid grid. the illusion is very striking. |

Forever Linkedby EddyGComment: One of my favorites in the challenge. I like very much the highlight on the top of the bulb, the clean disappearing 'horizon' line, and the centered composition. |

Enigmaby thelselComment: the gigantic border detracts from this. I see the appeal of a big black border but one half or a third this size would have less of an overpowering effect with the same drama. |

Victorian Eleganceby OneSweetSinComment: Things I would change about this: I'd use white balance or levels to make the background surface lighter, I'd remove the hanging string or wire hook that distracts the eye, and I'd crop it so the shadow isn't touching/cut off by the frame |

private jokeby shutterflyComment: one of my favorites in the challenge. it's so refreshing to see an image that so clearly says "all alone" yet doesn't try to evoke sadness and pathos. this could be me 25 years ago! |

Overpainted by kiwinessComment: Originally posted by kiwiness: The one thing that bothered me about this photo is that the paint in the tins is not smooth and flat. It didn't matter what I tried there were always bubbles on the paint's surface. |
I *like* the bubbles and think they add dimension. But you maybe could have faked the effect by painting circles of board and placing them in the tins, or using another substance to "pretend" to be the surface of the paint. |
