It looks like you have added some diffuse glow to the highlights. It might be a bit too much - it is robbing you of some sharpness. Love the lost in thought look on his face. Would have been infinitely better without the other people in the shot

Guessing it is sjhuls. Good processing and it should do really well.
In an effort to help all the shots I comment on in this challenge I would only say it feels a little heavy on the left, The clouds, mountains and girls are all weighted on the left hand side. This pic is great but would be over the top if the girls were on the right of the shot to balance it a bit more.

Simple and beautiful! Sadly I think the processing of the image let it down a little bit - there is too much chromatic abberation on the posts on the left hand side (cyan halo an the left and red halo on the right of each post)

Simply magnificent picture Rian... and all of this from a single exposure! The eye really get led on a journey from the rock up the stream between the hills and onto the mountain then the awesome clouds take over!

Ok this concept and set up is seriously good! Few minor points:
Bit too much noise - but I understand it is there because of how you had to capture it - run some denoise on it.
The FG looks like it was lit up with direct light from a torch - maybe bounce the light onto it to make it softer.
There is a small white spec on the horizon - a little distracting.
Generally an amazing shot - I like this lots. Hope it does well!

Lovely Harvey! Congrats on the top 10 and narrowly missing the HM. Wonderfully captured - I bet this looks much better at anything larger than 800px!

Intense Bird

Agree with what all the others have said. One more thing I learnt here is that the eye is attracted to the lighter parts of the photo normally. In this shot the background is lighter than the bird and my eye isnt fixated on the bird. Probably not much you could have done about it but it would have been better with you standing on the other side of the bird with the bird being brighter then the BG.
Having said that - you controlled your exposure well as backlit subjects arent the easiest things to expose properly.

Very nice. I love the simplicity of this shot. Technicals are good too - sharp, composition is good. Processing looks spot on. A good B&W conversion would be awesome!
