All in the Same Boatby MiekaComment: Great skyscape! I love the colors and mood of this pic. You did a pretty good job of exposing, and focusing on the boat even with the low lighting conditions. I think there is a little too much sky tho. It overwhelms the subject rather than emphasizing it. Try cropping a little more maybe. Also, what is just to the left? Could you have maybe included a little more of the black bars holding up the boat? ~indigo997 |

Blew itby FrooberComment: I like the composition. It also works well as high-key. I think it's just a tad overdone tho. The papers on the outside of the basket are barely discernable and have no detail left. I also feel like there's just a little too much empty space. You definitely need some, but maybe not quite so much. Still, it's a fun pic to look at. You did a good job stopping the motion, and the title is cute. I like that you used one lone blue paper. ~indigo997 |

Runnerby lionelmComment: Great high-key, but it's a little too blown out. Would make a great stock shot for advertising. Nice composition and use of neg space. ~indigo997 |

Firesideby inspzilComment: Tough lighting situation to get good focus. Did you use a tripod and tell him to FREEZE! :o) Might be good with him not centered. The really cool part is his face. You don't need all the extra space around him. His face alone has enough neg space. |

Open Wideby David EyComment: How did you do this? It looks so completely PSed that it's amazing to know it isn't. It's really cool! Great work and nice use of the neg space. ~indigo997 |

Strikeby KonadorComment: WOW! I'm in awe of the beauty of this fire, and the crop is great - especially on the right side. Really good focus and exposure. Excellent use of negative space. Good work and good luck! ~indigo997 |

Out of the Blue by JeanComment: Well, noone copied this idea anyway :o) The weird part is that I know he's underwater, but his hair looks dry. I love the blue color. Focus & lighting is amazingly good for the situation. What sort of set-up did you use? ~indigo997 |

Oasisby floydComment: I really like this. The composition is just beautiful and an excellent entry for this challenge. My only real problem with it is the bright sunlight. I think you might have tried a diffrent time of day. The focus is also a tad soft maybe, but this is a hard focusing situation. 9 ~indigo997 |

Hidden Lightby Chilly0999Comment: This is beautiful. Fill the sky with stars and it's a 10. Why is the sky so dark and the land so well lit??? Nice work. 9 ~indigo997 |

Can't Missby HBunchComment: This isn't bad at all, but I'm wondering if there's another angle that might add more interest. Maybe you coulda taken the pic more from the right and used the right side of the pool table to frame that side as you did on top. I'm left feeling that there is a little too much green table and not enough of anything else to anchor the pic. The lighting has sort of dulled the colors tho I'm not sure what to do about it. Maybe you could have taken the shot looking down a stick at the balls and used DOF to make it more interesting. You would still have a field of green in the pic but might have more interest. ~indigo997 |
