SEVENby GotchyaComment: Your composition really makes this shot for me. In addition to the "leading lines", the repetition of other patterns, as well as the good lighting make this a great shot. |

Follow the morning dew down blades of grassby Pep VentosaComment: Wow, beautiful shot! The color is amazing and the drops of water almost look like they could fall right onto my desk. Can't wait to find out if you used a close up lens for this. Composition is very effective, as is your DOF. |

Cloudlife by xertionComment: Cool shot, I love the way all the lines lead to the sky. Good lighting, and a nice, clear, sharp image. Centered composition is very effective. |

The Tracksby zadoreComment: Like the photo very much, especially the black and white treatment, and the centering of the train tracks - very effective. Fits the challenge well, like the border too. Nice work. |

By the Seaby AleciaComment: I like everything about this shot - composition, subject, black and white, EXCEPT that it is just too dark for my taste (all 3 of my monitors ARE calibrated). More contrast and a slightly brighter shot would have made this one of my high picks. Changed my mind: 8. |

Mirror Imageby WILDBLUEComment: An interesting shot, I like the black and white, but overall does not have a lot of impact for me as regards "leading lines". |

Roof Inspectionby AzrifelComment: Sorry, this shot just doesn't do a lot for me. The "leading lines" (roof) takes up less than half the shot, and doesn't have a lot of impact. There are quite a few distractions - the upper edge of the road with the grass and the curb, the car on the right, and the bushes - and for me, they all detract from the "leading lines" theme. I would have considered shooting from the top of the roof down at the gentleman, down close to the roof to try to make the lines the largest part of the composition. Good lighting, nice clear, well focused shot otherwise. |

Reachby tcherringComment: Nice shot; how did you get the border fade legally?? I love shots of trees, and the black and white is great, as is the composition. Very nice. |

Reflections on a Canalby sherComment: I like the black and white, but the shot doesn't really give me the feeling of "leading lines". A little more brightness and contrast may have helped to show up the creek a little bit better - it seems to fade to black a little to much for my taste. |

Misleading Linesby mariomelComment: Wow, subject, color, clarity, brightness, and composition, this shot has it all! The snow on the ground MADE this shot - it just wouldn't have had the same impact for me if that had been grass. The snow gives the shot an almost surreal quality. Very cool. 10 |
