Burning the Midnight Oilby ambakerComment: I'm not saying this doesn't meet the challenge, but I would consider this to be more of a candid photo of someone, than a portrait. I would love to see a more intimate shot, more of a closeup of the young man. |

Bathroom Mirror Realityby lisaeComment: I like the softness of this shot, but wish the model didn't look so sad - a more sensual feel would have been very nice. I would have cropped off quite a bit of the top - I just feel like I want a tighter crop on the subject. |

Maryannby KarenBComment: Nice composition and a nice shot. I would like to have seen the kind lighting that is used to fill in shadowed areas on portraits. (I'm technically challenged in this area(lighting), so please forgive me. I don't know how to DO that kind of lighting, but I know what I would like to see! Does that make sense?? |

Blown Me Awayby SwashbucklerComment: I really like the concept of this shot, but I'm not crazy about the background - it draws my eyes away from the subject. Perhaps a high contrast background, such as white would have been effective. |
