"Higher Education"by tfarrell23Comment: This is a great shot, I have observed on other pictures that without the title I would not have known their image was of a school building. This is not the case here.
This is an iconic image of an American Educational Facility, and easily recognisable by a Brit like me.
The chosen angle for the shot works well for me and the balance of the tree at top left with the bush bottom right works very well.

Old One-Room Schoolhouseby sibelingComment: Lovely image of tree in front of a building. The picture is well composed and balanced. However this is an international challange, and without the tittle I would not have known that this was a school.
You have obviously kept exactly to the instruction and I recognise and reward this. My observation is to try and think of what other may see if they were raised and live in other countries.

"...typed, double spaced."by Army of nOneComment: Good Balance and composition. The diagonal works well with this image. You have worked on the lighting to try and avoid glare on an individual key, which is not easy.
One observation is that a typewriter does not say schooldays to me. For me it was pencils a rubber, with lots of rubbing out. (I am a Brit in Britain, Rubber = Eraser, and not anything else)

The Trendy and Chic... Engineering Majorby yeouaComment: This is a well taken and composed photograph. I would have preferred not to have to have seen more of the colour on the right hand side, as I find the light in the bottom right hand corner distracting.
When I was a school we were not allowed to use calculators, so for me it was log tables, and tedious re-iterations

No substitute for the real thing.by afarlandComment: I love the composition and colour of this image. And this is one of my favourites from the challenge. My only concern is that the image does not suggest school days as well as others.
Catch 22 was not on the curriculum when I was at school, so I associate it more with late teens and early adult hood.

If only it worked this way...by AlbireoComment: This picture has good composition. However for me the lighting does not quite work. A second source is needed from the right to reduce the strength of the shadows |

For the Teacherby kirtiebuComment: My first reaction to this was predictable stereotype. But looking at the photo a little longer reveals a very good photograph with a strong composition. |

Basic Communicationby dixonp1Comment: The basic image is beautiful
If the silhouette of the couple was more apparent, the picture would be lifted even more |
