Reach For The Skyby spillerComment: I love the clarity in the photo, and how it captured the fuzzy stems. I think I have a thing for fuzzy stems or something. However, they aren't really pretty. I think maybe if you could have waited one more day for them to open up just a bit more, there would have been a little more color in contrast to all the green. I like how they are in focus and the background isnt. Your lighting is just fine and I like where they are positioned in the photo. Nice shot and good luck in the challenge. |

Palm Puppyby MorganComment: Oh, I wish the nose was a little clearer! This is adorable. |

New Life, New Father, New Loveby SonifoComment: I love the color in this. I like the title, but think that it would have more impact if the baby didn't appear to be looking away from the Dad (due to the fact that it looks like we can see both ears. I could be wrong, it could be a nose and a tuft of hair in the back, but I'm pretty sure it's ears) Also, I think it would be really cool if you could have gotten the entire picture in silouette. Inability to do that though is understandable with lack of time due to the sun going down and Daddy's arms getting tired of holding that baby over his head. :) Maybe long pants and dark socks would have helped a bit. Also, children can be uncooperative at times. Anyway, I really love this photo, and I think you have the right idea. Wish we had sunsets like that here. Congrats on the great photo and good luck. ~Heather~ |

growing in the windby FranziskaLangComment: I like the blowing effect. The flower is definately new. Very pretty colors. The background is interesting due to the fact that there is nothing in it. I wish it could have been a little more in focus, but don't know how you could have accomplished that and still have the blowing effect. Over all a very nice photo. Good luck with the challenge. |

14 Minutes Passed to a New Dayby quarxComment: I have to just wonder, if the same person did this one as did the last one in the transitions challenge. I like how the second hand rests right on the the marks. I like the texture in the wrist band. There is a small yellow something to the right of the watch. Good job capturing this one, and good luck in the challenge. |

Styleby MiekaComment: This is a pretty neat shot. I like how they are stanging the same and have the same hair. I was surprised to see 2 shots of maniquins in this weeks challenge. I think the clothes and shoes look like they are from a different era, but then again, I know nothing about style. Good luck with the challenge. |

Fall Fashionby GotchaComment: I was surprised to see 2 photos of manaquins in this challenge. And equally as strange, I find that in both of them, the clothes seemed that they were from a different era. I realized that I have no sense of fashion, so didn't let that sway my votes at all, but still found it strange. It could also just be that cause I'm from a small town, we don't see these kinds of clothes. Who knows. Anyway, about the photo. I like the lighting and the reflection into the mirror. I like how they are posed. Although subtle, I did notice that the rear one is wearing a tape measure around her neck. Great photo. Good luck in the challenge. |

Day Oneby just-marriedComment: Definately very new. It does't get much newer than this. I like how the baby is still all puffy. lol. I'm really glad you submitted this in color. The close up is great. I was thinking I might have wanted to see a wider shot to see more of the baby's face, but then thought that the close up showed his newness very well. The photo was thought out, and creativly taken. It's not just a picture of a baby. Great shot and good luck with the challenge. |

Created by Fireby LindaLeeComment: If I'm right, we have a photo of some glass blowing technique. I really like this. Definately unique. Great idea. I think people are going to say it's a little dark, but with the subject matter, I don't think you could have done much to prevent that. Congrats and good luck. |

STOP?!?by Edward MainComment: Kind of looks like you took this out your car window as you were stopped at the new stop sign. I think it would have been a bit more visually appealing to take the photo head on, or from a bottom angle, looking up. Maybe could have been taken when the sun was a bit brighter, however, that may have cast too much reflection onto the sign and that would have been distracting. For being what looks like a spur of the moment photo, you caught the sign so it is almost exactly vertical. Good eye for that. If I would have taken it, we would have end up looking at it diagnally. Photo kind of makes me laugh. Definately depicts something new. Good luck with the challenge. |
