A Light on the Coastby KarenNfldComment: The darkness on the right of the frame spoils this shot for me (polarizer or some sort of graduated filter?). |

Fading Autumn Colorsby jsasComment: A bit more color saturation or contrast would make this a much better shot. Dont you love autumn? Good luck |

TRAPPED!by NeuferlandComment: Wow what a disturbing shot. I have to say the older girl looks the splitting image of my daughter!! Scary, this is going to give me nightmares as I have lost contact with her. A very real problem in this day and age. Good luck. |

Path of no returnby hi131Comment: This shot is beautiful but I think it would have had more impact if it was sharper. |

Evening at the beachby TroyMosleyComment: I agree that the white border makes the sky look blown out, without it I think the pink of the sky would have been great. The other thing that I dont think helped the shot is the fact that although the water needed to be blurred, the rocks are also soft.
Edit to add:
Perhaps a tad more contrast would have helped the sky and rocks? Message edited by author 2005-11-09 11:37:42. |

Grapefruit Deconstructedby DrAchooComment: I liked this shot when I voted was one of my favorites in the challenge. Knowing how you lit it now I cant help but wonder how it would have looked if you had lit it with a strobe flash on black velvet to get a sharper image? Great shot, I dont like grapefruit but I find myself wanting to reach out and eat it! |

Horus' Throneby glodaComment: I definitely like this version better, the landscape format just draws you into the shot and the color is great. I concur what strangeghost says that it is a shot that you "wish you had thought of and executed so well yourself" LOL |

Tulipby NeilComment: I love your motion blur pictures, this is something I have been playing with a bit with my horses recently, and you are soooo right, to get these "right" or so they look appealing is much more difficult than it appears!! Beautiful shot as are all your others |

abusedby melodeeComment: This shot would have been better if it had more contrast and you had adjusted the color as it has a distinct Cyan cast. |

End of The Trailby pedahel7Comment: This would have been far better if you had increased the contrast a bit to bring out the colors more. |
