My reason for living...by tp-fcpComment: Nice lighting and pose. the skin looks very plastic. Did you use NeatImage on this? I think a little backlighting to distinguish the head and hair shape. |

Jenineby rj324Comment: Very good gray scales and lighting with focus spot on. The angle just makes her left eye look a little strange. nice work |

Hypnotic Stare by librodoComment: This is a great pose. Sharper on those eyes and then softening up the rest of the face (the nose seems most prominent and focused). Very good |

Sunny Day in Marchby PDavisComment: Looks like early morning or late afternoon lighting here. a little bright area on the nose. I think softening this photo up would make her skin alot smoother and "flatter" the subject more. On close inspection, the right upper corner has painting circles. Blur those up a bit, so they are not as noticable. |

Brandonby nsoroma79Comment: Very nice lighting (a touch softer would work for me), but highlights the face very well. I do like you keepig the eyes blue. the range of grays is great. a touch more contrast. great job |

Mother and Daughter (Reluctant models)by geewhyComment: Interesting. almost looks like a charcoal drawing. Still resembles photography to me, but you are gonna get hammered. I do like the softness of it, especially for a portrait |

Dadby GinaRothfelsComment: even though the photographic aspect of this one seems to have gone out the window, but it looks good. I would like to see a black and white of this instead. |

At Restby gandersComment: I am not sure that this qualifys as a portrait for me, but photowise it is not too bad. Needs work on the horizon line ( a litle skewed) a slightly different angle to maybe get the pillars almost looking like mirror images, may have given a better impression to me |

The Missusby redmoonComment: Has a good softness to it. bringing the subject out and away form the background would give a softer feel and get rid of the shadow. Being able to see her eyes would make this a bit better shot IMO. Also squaring up the shoulders |
