Half Hitchesby WinkComment by sherpet: I love this, as it is such a dramatic, yet also quite soft shot as well.
The balance between the two is very good.....
I actually don't mind the shadows as I think that is what softens it somewhat. |

Half Hitchesby WinkComment by Germaine: Interesting subject matter and good b&w processing. IMNSHO, you could stand a little more light on the left side of the picture -- you're losing a lot of interesting rope texture in the shadow. Also, IMNSHO you could cut some of the bottom off the picture. The rope is in the shadow and you can't see it that well. I think a closer crop would give the knot itself more oomph. My opinion is worth what you are paying for it. 8) Good work and thanks for sharing. |

Old Boat Houseby WinkComment by sacredspirit: Diddo on the black and white comment you left me! I really like this one in black and white. I also like the dark feel you gave it instead of blowing the whites out of proportion. Though I must admit, I am more a dark person in overall taste of tone. Great, great photo. |

Did you ever walk with ten cats on your head?'

Sidney pier, Winterby WinkComment by giraffee: Like the lines. How the top line runs with the horizon and the
feeling of the clouds pressing in.
Mostly the tracks in the snow ;)

Arizona treeby WinkComment by MWitt: Its a very nice shot, love that sky! Can't tell if its a palo verde in b&w. Is the bark smooth and green? If yes, then Palo Verde it is. |
