The Da Vinci Woodyby scarbrdComment: This is a great idea: a pity someone else had the same idea but... I might have liked thelight to be less muted. |

despair by tcmartinComment: I like the balance of low horizontal figure and a large 3/4 background. Just something about the light on Woody makes him just too grey, and although it's a shot of "despair" maybe his highlights could have been picked up more. I can imagine that with some tweeks, this could make a great enlargement poster! |

You're Doing Just Fine...by kalaniComment: Natty idea: what fun. Find the spacing a bit "bitty"...too many primary characters...maybe a repositioning of the artist's page would make more of Woody adn his subject? At present the page is too dominant. But the stroy behind the composition is clever! |

Evolution: The Ascent of Woodyby KHoltComment: Now that's a good composition: very clever..I like the fact that the picture looks untampered with and honest.Pity the evolved woody is out of focus. |

Starting a New Familyby TransitComment: Ah, this is a great idea. The lighting, and composition/story are lovely. Like especially how you've grouped the figures...and the delicate touch of the shavings on the floor. |

Juicy Fruitby faeryComment: Thanks everyone: this was a first attempt at being "studioesque". By that I mean..actually making an effort to set up or stage a photo. I hung the white sheet over the lemon tree, and then positioned the bottle against the sun ...and then crawled inside to take the shot. The lemon tree survived the ordeal! Very happy with the results. Message edited by author 2006-10-13 12:11:13. |
