I wasn't trying to imply anything about her hands, Judi. I have somewhat good-sized paws for a woman, too. It's just the angles that, to me, make her hands - esp in a portrait showing delicacy and grace - a little too noticeable. That's all. If you choose to be offended, then I'm very sorry.

However, what's going on with the hair that crosses over her body? There's chunks of hair appearing and disappearing all over the place. If you were to reuse this image for another application, I would suggest taking a closer look at those areas and making sure the hair connects to her head rather than appearing to come from her palm or pit, heh. |
Hi Aliqui
I was waiting for someone to mention that. I thought it would be brought up during voting but it wasn't! I was fully aware of her hair across her body when I edited. I did make it solid but it seemed to cut her in half...I liked the effect when it was opaque so I left it like that. I preferred the gentle effect it had on the overall image in comparison to either solid or no hair at all. I hope that makes sense? |

I believe "mythical" is the operative word. Something very unique and hypnotizing about this glorious image. Congrats on the (predicted) ribbon :) |

I agree with Bear, the hair is wonderful, and your choice of color for the background is perfect. You have a beautiful daughter indeed, and you surely know how to lit her and give her beauty justice. Congratulations about it, and of course about the ribbon. |

A lovely, crisp image that fills the space through the creative uplifting of her hair. A pretty model with an engaging poutiness. Two focal points --- her beflowered head and the lotus in her hands. Terrific choice of background. Love that eyebrow. |

Beautiful. Not sure I understand why that line is on the left. My eye keeps going over there. The colors, the lighting, the editing - I haven't gotten through the challenge but this is likely to be on the podium.
PS - I'd kill for that hair.... |
