Cool portrait Roz! What dings it down for me a little bit, Fred in the box feels a little flat, I actually wasn't sure if it was a live person or a large print. Perhaps you could come closer and use a wide-angle lens to emphasize perspective and three-dinensionality. Still, great work, congratulations! |

Thanks for the explanation of the "how to". I voted as-if legal and it is good that it is (although my personal preference is to achieve results without too much editing, but that is a different discussion) |

I assume it is legal in standard editing (i.e. not a printed picture in a box) and wonder how you did this. I like the idea. The harsh light, the background and the strong direct look is in the style of Irving Penn, I think. Small thing: I find the printed brand on the top lid of the box distracting. |
