I love the perspective, the composition, the tone, the originality - and it doesn't look like you relied too much on digital editing to make it happen. Proof that simple can be beautiful.

| This makes an interesting pattern in the snow, which I like. I would love to know if the two rows of of lines/patterns, are either some type of animal, or maybe droplets, indents in the snow from maybe a roof above. Just wondering, as I really like these patterns in the snow... Well done. |

Magical! I love the contrast between pure and cluttered and the artistic evidence of a passing animal. Top shot so far...

| VERY COOL!! (no pun intended) I love the various shades of white, blue/white, gray and black. The monochromatic theme really works. The negative space on the left is perfect for the piled up bikes on the right. Great textural variants! Love it! I'm going to bump this up to a 10. It is stunning and I keep coming back to it. |

| This is an excellent shot. THe composition, the colours or the lack thereof. How did you get the shot from above? Were you simply on a ladder? The only thing that kills the mood that the pic sets is the top right corner. Other than that: 10----> blue ribbon in my opinion |

| Very interesting. This grabbed my attention right away. I'm kind of distracted by the object emerging from between the tracks. I kind of wish the snow was more pristine so that the bikes were the only focus. The line of tracks nearest the bikes add interest but the other line is messier and ends up in a sort of blob at the top. I think cropping just beyond the first line of tracks would make a tighter composition, however a different mood would result. |

| best use of snow in this competition. :) A great example of abstraction trumping representation, but not completely. The viewer can't forget that he's looking at bicycles, something that's made to move, not collect snow. It adds emotion to the shot. |

beautiful detail, peculiar, intriguing yet obviously natural scene, minimalist approach to color and well balanced shades...
I prefer when I don't recognize the photographs in the challenges, including this one, but well, finding here one of my favorites (wait, it somehow dissapeared from my list!)... 10, though cloning over those footprints could make it even better (s.t. like 10,8 :-) |
