 The other day, I heard John Michael Montgomery's song "The Little Girl." It made me think about all of the children being abused and the fear they must feel. The model for this picture is my 14 yo niece, who has never been abused, and was not harmed in any way taking the picture. :-)

i'm not sure i understand this. Is it to depice molestation or incest? I'm guessing that's where you were headed with this. Makes me more uncomfortable than afraid. Hmmm...

I think this would be stronger with a tighter crop -- from the top-left corner to just right of the watch and just below the elbow.

Mostly effective, but I think it needs more, maybe a broom handle on it's way down or some other "direct" threat. Thighs overly washed out. 7 Swash

This could have been a great picture. First the legs are overexposed. Second, get a shot of the expression on the face, without that it just looks like she's holding her head playfully.

I had a photo very similar to this but it was about domestic violence between husband and wife, unfortunatley I unsubmitted because I felt that it may be too heavy for this site. I applaude you for having the B***s to submit what is a very emotive subject."9" Dogman.

Doesn't seem like a childhood had been stolen but more of "please don't hit me" which is a fear as well. 7
