You have managed to capture a very cute moment in time. Wonderful timing of the photo.I think the focus might be just a tad off, but nothing to get excited about. I would almost be tempted to convert this to B&W since the green grass really since to contradict the monochromatic scene.I love the vertical lines you created in both the legs and trunk. A very nice capture.

I loved this shot, and gave it an 8. The texture on the elephants is great, and it reminded me of being in Thailand, where we were fortunate enough to come across a herd of elephants guarding their young much like this. Neat photo.

WHAT a SHOT!

Okay, okay, putting on my constructive hat, I suppose it could do with a touch more contrast and focus.

But for the most part, I'll stick with WHAT a SHOT! :)

great idea, great subject, but a little off in the capture. there's something about the exposure and focus that just doesn't see true.

Truly wonderful shot. Light wasn't great for you but you've made up for that in your composition and subject. Great title too.

Good capture. i think if the greens could have been a bit bolder, it would have really made this image stand out more.

Oh yes! Now this is one that for me has that immediate "heart-tug" emotional impact. Part of it is that I'm so so inordinately partial to elephants -- but the rest is that you just captured an amazing moment! I love the texture and tones! Great job!

What you get here, i think, is a strong sense of the bagginess of an Elephant's skin - the way it doesn't seem to fit properly.
