This reminds me of the creature in the movie Tremors lol...actually reminds me of a lot of of a lot of movie monsters. I like the b/w tones you have here, the lighting is perfect and our depth of field really gives detail at just the right level. Well done.

Looks oversharpened on my screen, or at least, looks like it has a fair bit of artifacting. I wonder what it would look in colour. For my taste, it's too centred (vertically), and there isn't really any one point of strong interest. However, the shapes all together looks pretty good. ~5

Nice composition and tones. Very grainy though, not sure if that will hurt the scores or not. Some type of flower but I don't know what kind.....a flowering cactus?
