A very cool idea, well set up. Nothing hugely wrong in my eyes, so I'm going to nit pick you a bit. The bread is slightly blown out on the right, the lower crust is a tad too dark (hey, decide what you want, lighter or darker! That's a comment from you to me....) Not thrilled with the crop, but no ideas how to make it better. 9 Swash

This is not what I'd pictured when I thought Pencil, but you did make me laugh out loud! The pencil is a little blurred and the chickens in the distance get pretty dark and grainy, but I still like this shot, just for it's out of place outrageousness! I'm even going to to give you an 8, for the humor of it all. Swash

I was surprised at the number of garden pencils we got this week. I like your additions of the water bucket and "spare plants", very funny. Beautiful sunset, too bad the challenge made you put a house under construction in front of it. (I hope you took a spare w/o the house!) The wood is very well photographed, but I honestly don't like it covering the sunset. Still 9... Swash

I like the emotional hesitation this shot portrays. The clarity is very nice, but some parts seem dark to me, like the boy's arm and the entryway. I like the entryway being dark, implies a foreboding, but not the arm. 7 Swash

New Haircut!

I like the eye and scissors, but that's about it. The face seems very red and the hair blends into the background too much. You also have a few jaggies along the upper arm of the scissors. 6 Swash
