"Sitting in his nowhere land"by yankoComment: Greetings from CTP2 Gunnsi
First impression
You met the challenge and still going within top 20.
Good picture of a tired man. You met the challenge. Good focus, good placement/angle and rules of thirds. This is a beautiful benche (seat) and that gives you some points.
What can you do better
Ask him to move his left foot a bit :-) it sort of hangs there.
Sorry I can't give you any suggestions on making this better. |

Texas State Capitol Buildingby yankoComment: Greetings from CTP2 Gunnsi

You are good! Good use of rule of thirds, good focus, good placement, good lighting and nice details. The frame is very good with this picture.
What can you do better
Only thing that comes in mind that it is Poosible that a square crop would have done better. |

...a lump of purest green.by xianartComment: Greetings from CTP2 Gunnsi
First impression
Don't know what to say! It screams at me. Can't stop and look at any part of it, my eyes just wander to the next bit every time I try to stop. So in the end I stop where you didn't want me to. Namely in the overblown section. So I think "Overblown" in stead of thinking: "Hey this is cool"
What can you do better
Higher shutter speed or lower aperture to get rid of the overblown part.
Also consider a different placement or add another thing beside it. |

Last Whisperby xianartComment: Greetings from CTP2 Gunnsi

Great ghost story. Good looking picture. Light a bit harch in the window. Nice use of the lines to let the eyes follow to the trunk. Exept for the lines at the top.
What can you do better
A different crop, take a bit from the top and increase the shutter speed for less light. This is Adwanced Editing so you could have brightened the rest of the picture in Post Processing.
This picture is underrated. Should have scored higher IMO. |

Strawberry Fields Foreverby xianartComment: Greetings from CTP2 Gunnsi
First impression
You met the challenge but this picture only shows strawberries but not a field. Good looking strawberries and some of them in superb focus and show a great detail. Lovely colours. This picture would have scored well in the Bokeh challenge I think.
What can you do better
The picture is maybe a bit too simple. Adding something to the strawberries might have helped. There is nothing that connects this to the Beatles but the title. (the same for my picture).
I saw this thread two days ago, read'em and weep :-)

Beauty between greenby alexgarciaComment: Greetings from CTP2 Gunnsi
First impression
I want to see her face!, The branches are in front of her eyes and that is very distracting. Either hide away the eye or show it all. In this way I get irritated looking at it and try to blink to get rid of the distraction. Good colours, green :-), good focus and lighting.
What can you do better
Take away the little branches from her eye. :-)
Good luck next time. |

Here comes the sunby alexgarciaComment: Greetings from CTP2 Gunnsi
First impression
Beautiful sunrise (or sunset). Good colours, lack of details and a tractor in the foreground.
What can you do better
IMO there is to much empty space above the sun, a different crop would have helped there. Stand in a place where there are no distracting things like a tractor in the foreground. Zoom a bit more in so that there will be more details in the houses. |
