0048-barn-bw.jpgby tsheetsComment by savannahjames: I think this shot works. (It's not too dark for me, but everyone's screen is calibrated differently, so you'll probably get mixed answers on that.) I like it because it gets me interested - it makes me want to go find it and explore closer in. Great shot! |

0045-barn.jpgby tsheetsComment by savannahjames: I love old barn shots. This one works really well as far as composition/framing, color and character. The one thing that I wish had been different is the grass - to me, the appeal of old barns is usually the feeling that they were abandoned, and wondering what the barn's history is. The freshly cut grass in this shot seems to hurt that overall mood a bit. But, of course, I realize that you couldn't help that. :) Very nice shot! |

This could use some more contrast, and the laser could be brought out more. I barely see it. |

LifeSaversby tsheetsComment by singe: This is a good idea, but it's kind of blurry. The light is also a tad too bright. |

i love this photo. the bark BG/FG draws the eye right to the lit up fern. very well done photo.
edit to add: i would clone out or burn the fern tip at the top as it draws the eye away from the larger fern. Message edited by author 2005-08-08 13:07:49. |
