Mine, All MINEby MaryOComment: He does have rather a crazed look in his eye. The yellow makes a nice background for him. |

Nectar Nibblerby MelonMusketeerComment: I like the look the noise gives this shot. You're right it does look like canvas. Nice coloure combinations and amazing detail to be able to see the pinchers on the ant. |

dragonfly on buttercupby tnunComment: Just beautiful! Incredible detail on the wings and markings on its back. If you send your photo to this site, maybe he can identify it for you and might want to use your shot on the site. |

Yellow in Blueby colorcarnivalComment: The colours are really vibrant. Beautiful clarity on the butterfly and great DoF for the background. |

IMG_0058Gull.jpgby JerseyGenieComment: Love the spray from the fountain and the position of the gull in this one. He looks like he could be waiting for his date to arrive. |

wildthing4.jpgby icu1965Comment: Cool shot of the snake's tongue. I know what you mean about the battle of the sunlight, especially with water reflections thrown in. I agree with MaryO that a closer crop in on the snake and less wood might be good to try. |

wildthings3.jpgby icu1965Comment: Looks like crows or grackles hangin' out. In this case, the wave direction does not indicate a straight horizon but the waterline at the front of the "log" or whatever that the bird is on could be used as the horizontal line. Using that as a guide, you can see that it is only slightly off horizontal (about .55 of a degree), if you really wanted to get nit picky. :)
You managed to capture some of the sun sparkle on the water, not an easy task. You might want to try a levels adjustment layer to enhance that a bit. |

Poisedby JedusiComment: With photos like these, I say keep the birds coming! Terrific detail. Was this taken at the 400mm end of your zoom? |
