City Abstract
Composition (Content)
Nice abstract. The reflections make for a nice contrast of earth against man. My only nit for compositions is if you had enough building at the top to make the height of the back most part of the building the same as the width. This would add symmetry and leave the viewer not thinking the top had been cut off.
Background
The noise is my biggest concern with the background. This is probably due to your lighting situation.
Camera Work (Technical)
Limitations of the camera prevent you from being able to apply filters or do much in the way of shutter speed and F/stop so within the limits of the camera this is a ok shot.
Digital Processing (Technical)
Sharpening is fair (Not sure you sharpened this photo).
Balance between light and dark is fair. (Not a lot of contrast in this photo)
Compression is good(No noticeable compression artifacts)
My opinion
This is a good shot. Apart from some post processing to clean up the noise, and a crop to include more building at the top this is a very creative shot. |

I do like the abstract nature of this shot... i also like the contrast between the colors as well. I think the overall image may be a little dark. It appears to be a tad noisy as well... I do love the lines and patterns here though... good work :) - setzler |

Great colors and abstract feel, and I like the frame too. The image itself seems a little grainy to me. |

The abstract part of this is awesome. I like the different "layers," for lack of a better word, of each of the sections. And the orange/red gives the appearance of fire. It is just real grainy to me, and I think a crisper picture would have been more effective.
Also, and this is just my opinion, the black in the border works well, but I think a wee bit more narrow would be better. |

I like the composition of this, and the colours. It's a really fetching abstract photo. The slight graininess is kind of nice, in my opinion. Photos that are very sharp sometimes seem harsh to me. However, I think the border is a bit too wide and dominates the photo rather than complimenting it. |

The black matte frames this unusual photo well. By capturing the red and orange colors you have created a pleasing abstract. |

Wow! This is excellent with dramatic colors and good focus. Nice combo of cool and warm. Great graphical lines. Lots of interest. Good work. |

Great reflections and buildings. I like the orange in it. The shot is a little noisy and could use a little sharpening. |

Interesting. Lovely colours. I´m mad at myself for not being able to tell how it is done. Anyhow a lovely shot (8) |

Nice abstract and good colors. The noise in the shot is a little distracting. You may want to look into NeatImage as well as unmask sharpen. I like your crop for composition. |

I really like the lines of this shot, with the repetition of the frontage leading the eye from the upper left corner down across the shot. The colours in this shot contrast well, but the refleactions make it very unclear as to what exactly the orange & reds are caused by - fire? I'll have to wait until the results I guess :o)
One thing about the border - it feels like its overpowering the main body of the photo - I'd recommend a border only about half as wide as this one, at most. |

wow...interesting. maybe it's just the way I"m looking at the shot, but it seems a bit speckled. I think the frame goes very nicely with the photo, the additional color (orange) is a great touch. Not quite sure what the orange is, but it adds enough variation to the shot to give it some extra interest. Your focus and clarity seem good to me, and lighting also appears to have been cooperative for you. Good luck in the challenge. |

Interesting, looks like a painting! Good choice of using a border, I think it is very effective. Looks like something I might hang on my wall! Incredible oranges, love the patterns, just an all around nice photo! |

An excellent composition, however technically the image seems a bit noisy and the framing a bit distracting. Also, the alignment of the conners is a bit tilted, which puts a bit of a strain into the image. On the bright side, I love the colours; and again can't stress enough how great the idea is. Hope this is helpful, congrats and good luck. |

This shot is quite interesting to me. I love the reflections, and the repeating lines and angles. The limited color palette is also very effective for the shot. The wide border bothers me a little, I think I would prefer that it be smaller so as to have less impact on the shot itself. Moderate to high impact for me. 8. lhall |

It looks like fire relfected in the windows. Nice lighting. It seems like the shot could be sharpened a bit to give more definition to the windows. Maybe drop the size of the border as well. Good shot overall = 7 |

I have learned to love abstract in photography. This is a nice example. I like the color, composition and light. The focus is a little soft and the grain bothers me. I do like your work here. Justine |

Looks like the building in front is on fire. Is it? Cool shot. |

I am impressed with this urban architectural elevation. Shades of blue, teal, purple, black, and grey-blue contrast dramatically with the fire reds. Noticable fine grain is apparent- (or what ever it is). To me this contributes a subtle texture to the image, and attenuates the feel of a solid building. The strong architectural grid design, seems to struggle with those elements that flatten - the grain- texture, amorphic window reflections, colour and optical foreshorting. A very interesting image - a battle between 2d and 3d. |

not sure the choice of such a wide border adds to the photo. image quality is not so good, but I like the play of the reflections with the geometry. |
