Restby millerComment: Wow, thank god for the Admin. How did you get this almost black and white look? Cool and nicely done. 8 Swash |

Dress Upby SonifoComment: Very clear shot and nice use of sepia. (Ironic that a high tech camera would emulate "ancient" photography) Not crazy about the background. 8 Swash |

Sweet Spotby AaronComment: Wow, this is the best of the wasp shots. Too bad the flower's pestal is in the way. Most of this week's shots had serious macro/depth of field problems. In your case, the wasp is more on a single plane, leaving it all in focus. I think I would have liked having more of the flower in focus, but in this case, the lack of depth isn't so bad for the subject. 8 Swash |

Fireside Anguishby sulamkComment: Cool concept, but I don't think the camera carried it off well. (Too dark to focus well). Overall dark shot. 5 Swash |

Poppyby spillerComment: Stunning macro! Closest thing to a complaint would be the light flares next the the shadows and the tiny touch of green, upper left corner. 9 Swash |

Phobic?by indigo997Comment: I wrote too soon, I had another spider shot as best of that catagory, but this is better, although I do like the head on view better. Great macro! 9 Swash |

No reprieve.by millerComment: Too close! I see a partial shadow that might have been effective, if only the photo was viewable. Sorry....4 Swash |

No Fearby stephanComment: This could have been really cool, but it's too dark to view. Needs alot more light, and a faster shutter speed. IMO either blur the background or the subject, not both. 5 Swash |

NO! Don't Do It!!by CreativeFlyPhotoComment: It's hard to separate fear from shock, which is very well represented here. Good focus/contrast/framing. (a photoshop touch up with something dangerous clearly reflected in her eyes would be GREAT!, but illegal here.) 7 Swash |

Childhood Stolenby karmatComment: Mostly effective, but I think it needs more, maybe a broom handle on it's way down or some other "direct" threat. Thighs overly washed out. 7 Swash |
