Wow, this is the best of the wasp shots. Too bad the flower's pestal is in the way. Most of this week's shots had serious macro/depth of field problems. In your case, the wasp is more on a single plane, leaving it all in focus. I think I would have liked having more of the flower in focus, but in this case, the lack of depth isn't so bad for the subject. 8 Swash

This could have been really cool, but it's too dark to view. Needs alot more light, and a faster shutter speed. IMO either blur the background or the subject, not both. 5 Swash

It's hard to separate fear from shock, which is very well represented here. Good focus/contrast/framing. (a photoshop touch up with something dangerous clearly reflected in her eyes would be GREAT!, but illegal here.) 7 Swash
