Red Maple Blossomsby vtruanComment: Flowers show lots of details but they appear to be a bit oversharpened. They seem to be a bit pixelated as well as the background. Or maybe there is too much compression. Not sure. If the details were sharper and less pixelated, I'd rate this higher. |

Bodyscapeby tariqueComment: Nice chice going b/w with this shot! Somehow nudes always look better this way. I think it might look better, and more focused, if cropped a lot more off the bottom. I know that sounds radical but i think the large shadow in the lower left corner is grabbing too much attention. If it was cropped out completely, you could also make the rest of the image larger. And, not sure if anything could be done about the odd-shaped shadow between the knees. It's a great image, however. Good luck! 8 |

Pinecone'sby jab119Comment: I would have liked to see the pinecone on the table surface vs floating above it. You did a great job of preserving focus and details, though. |

Lime gearby cabaComment: Nice DOF shot. The only thing I might have done differently; crop the bottom a bit tighter. The lower left corner is a bit distracting to me. If you cropped above that and used partial orange and yellow gears, it might shift even more focus onto the green one. |

Snapshot limitationsby tyrkinnComment: Nice portrait. Excellent facial details and skin color. The background is just not interesting enough for me, however. |

Just A Minuteby ImagineerComment: Interesting perspective. Not sure exactly what they are but they look neat! Something from the '50s era? |

Spring is Comingby hughletherenComment: I think this would have looked better if there was more negative space above the flowers and maybe even some to the left or right. As it is now, composition is too centered, in my opinion. The flowers have nice tonal balance and details, however. |

Temptation by stickylizardComment: LOL, this is excellent! Gotta love the way the dog has his/her head tilted to get a better view. Classic Pavlov! Oh, and the dog is well blurred and focus on the meat is good, too. :) 10 |

A Fern Unravelsby ManikzComment: Nice background. Lends a nice tone to the fern even though it's not the same color yet. Nice details on the new fern shoot. I might have cropped the bottom a bit closer as the edge as it is now is a bit uneven. 7. |

Lilac: Waiting for Springby kirbicComment: Looks like there is a tinge of blue to the Lilac bud that could have been corrected. Nice job cropping and good luck in the challenge! |
