Abstract Martiniby AleciaComment: Fantastic!! The wave of blue through the glass is really what makes this such a great shot! |

Spaghettiby JackoComment: Great shot -- totally unexpected and interesting. I wonder what lighting it from the bottom would have done -- would the darker patches in the middle have been lighter? |

Christmas Time Is Hereby jenaromComment: It's so round and stark that it looks fake! In this instance, I would like to have seen the needles in the foreground be more in focus and the others in the background more washed out. The big blur right in the center of the photograph is the first thing one sees, and it's sort of distracting. I love the color and plain background... |

First Snowby BAMartinComment: The fence gives great lines to the photo. I would like to have seen one where you tried to follow them with the camera while they were moving so the background would be blurred out too. |

Merry Kissmas!by karmatComment: I enjoy the framing and the high contrast feel -- but this might even be too high-contrasty. And that's saying something for me. |

House Finchby SwashbucklerComment: A great capture. The fuzziness and artifacting distract from the image, and the color seems washed out somewhat. |

Neon Twigby kandyjComment: This might be a more effective B/W shot. The numerous colors and harsh lighting make it difficult to tell what the subject is. It could be a really slimy worm or something, but I don't think there's enough of an "icecicle-y" effect to give it that post-ice storm feeling. |

Face-to-Face In the Snowby magnetic9999Comment: A great shot, and a wonderfully captured moment. The tree in the foreground is distracting, and I can't figure out why the squirrel's fur is so washed out. The tail especially looks like there was a lot of sharpening and/or color correction and it looks unnatural. Way to grab the moment, though....this is a great capture. |
