Challenge: My Left Foot (Basic Editing)
Camera: Canon EOS-7D
Lens: Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II

Shutter: 1/160

 Came up with this idea soon after I saw the challenge,
Would I, could I pull it off?
Trip to supermarket to get ingredients
Cut up ingredients
Style ingredients
Set up camera on tripod,
Get myself into position
Now reach for the shutter set with 10 second timer, press.
Put foot on sandwich, try not to squash ingredients
Hold flash in the air, point it at ceiling
Quick, put top part of sandwich on foot,
Crumbs everywhere, this is only basic editing, damn crumbs
Remove myself from sandwich, search for solution
Apply hairspray to bread - problem solved
Apply make up to foot while in bathroom (doesnt everyone?)
Do it all again
Oh crap, have I been using my Left foot???
Yes, thank heavens!!
Shoot done..
Feet are so not photogenic, but I had fun..

OMG My first ribbon!! This is soooo exciting. Wow, I get to see my photo up there on the home page all week now.. Thanks to all for your positive comments.

You may or may not be aware that this is one of the photos being used in the online "publications" referenced here: DPC forum thread on LBNelert
I noticed it when I was searching for my own. There were so many from DPC that I could not document them all - if you want to have it removed, see posts from LydiaToo and Mike_311 on p. 5 of the forum thread. To locate it more easily, check both blogs and the main newsletter, starting with the dates when this challenge was in voting or shortly thereafter.

(I think - a couple of the feet from this challenge were there)

Congrats on your first ribbon! Hairspray, great idea! I've heard about food photographers applying all sorts of chemistry just to make it look more tasty, I guess this goes in the recipe book :).

Good light and details. The side view isn't working super well to me, mainly because of how the bread is angled.
